Description:

Although a large specimen, this fluorite enjoys great transparency and when backlit it reveals its true beauty. The piece shows excellent three-dimensional crystal growth with a crystal size up to 4.5 cm. With a slightly concave shape, the crystal surfaces show a fine parqueted structure and a silky shine due to water etching. An additional highlight entails some dark violet dots on the fluorite crystals. These spots most likely come from natural local radioactive irradiation.
