Calcite on Matrix

Description:

A large single calcite crystal on bright slate matrix. All surfaces are high-gloss with different structures. The calcite is partially overgrown with a second generation and shows transparent bright beige to light orange color. Under UV lighting, the calcite shows a very intense red-orange color in some areas.
