Fluorite

Description:

This piece with its unusual crystal structure is unique for this find. It is more reminiscent of a Chinese fluorite than one from Weisseck. Here, too, the coloring is due to a thin zoning just below the surface; the rest is colorless. Under UV lighting, as typical of this find, the crystals fluoresce purple in the outer area and red-orange in the colorless area. This one is truy an asset to my Weisseck collection!
