Fluorite
WE 22-8, 2020
Location:
Rucksack Cleft, Weisseck, Lungau, Salzburg, Austria
Description:
In this piece, the fluorites have grown together so intensively that individual cubes can no longer be recognized. Only in the outer areas is it possible to discern individual cubes. The crystal surfaces, which are slightly curved inward, have a square texture and have a matt sheen. The first two millimeters of the crystal are colorless, below that is a violet zoning, which gives the crystal its color. With backlight, this color comes into its own.
Size: 9 x 7.3 x 5.9 cm
