Fluorite
WE 22-12, 2020
Location:
Rucksack Cleft, Weisseck, Lungau, Salzburg, Austria
Description:
A larger piece that is particularly attractive due to the second generation of fluorite. The fluorite crystals of the first generation are so intensely intertwined that the individual cubes are largely no longer clearly recognizable. The surfaces are glossy and curve inwards with a slightly parqueted structure. The fluorite is gray on the upwards facing crystal surfaces. The lateral crystal faces are translucent in violet. A second generation of smaller violet fluorites gives the piece a special character.
Size: 18 x 12.5 x 6.5 cm
