Description:

Another great floater specimen from this particular find! The distortion of the slate is clearly visible and provides an indication of the extreme pressure to which the specimen was subjected. A pyrite cube and some calcite are crystallized in the depression of the schist that had been torn open (center of the picture). Individual pyrites and the calcites dominate. Small quartz crystals are distributed over the entire matrix and make the entire piece sparkle when moved.
