Etched Fluorite

Description:

With an edge length of exactly 10 cm, this fluorite is one of the largest etched fluorites in my collection. The piece is originally broken right along the edge and was later etched by water. When viewed from the front, the fluorite shows a beautiful blue-green transparent color. The crystal surface is etched and still shows traces of a second generation of small fluorites. On the sides and back the piece shows a good luster and nice etched structures. Viewed from the side and illuminated with backlight, the fluorite shows a nice color zoning. First, third, fourth, fifth, seventh and eight photo with lower LED backlight.
