Etched Fluorite

Description:

One of my favorite pieces: The fluorite is intensively etched all around. Deep etching gaps were caused by water. The surfaces show a good gloss and nice etched structures. Looking at the piece from the front, the piece shows a beautiful transparent color ranging from purple to cyan. Viewed from the side with backlit, the fluorite shows a very intense color zoning. First, second, fourth, and fifth photo with lowest LED backlit. Fourth and eighth photo with medium LED backlit. Depending on the angle of inclination, the fluorite changes its color - that is the special thing about these zoned fluorites!
