Description:

One of the few limestone-matrix specimens from my collection: Many fluorite cubes, up to 3.5 cm in diameter, sit on a limestone matrix and are surrounded at the outer edges by light-colored calcite crystals. The fluorites display good transparency, stepped edge growth, and a silky luster from water etching. The size of the specimen and the proportion between crystal size and overall piece are harmoniously balanced.
