Blue Fluorite with Calcite

Description:

A floater specimen with two dominant, well-formed main crystals accompanied by several smaller crystals. The largest crystal displays stepped edge growth with an edge length of up to 4.2 cm. The surfaces have a silky luster due to water etching. Light-colored calcite crystals – some growing individually – provide a striking contrast to the blue color of the fluorite.
