Location:
Ice Cleft, Weisseck, Lungau, Salzburg, Austria
Description:
Another unique piece from the Ice Cleft. This eye-catching specimen offers beautiful blue-green pastel colors augmented with a slightly purple coloration in some areas. The light gray-yellow zonal structure gives the piece an additional interesting note. The surfaces are high-gloss with a multiple square texture, the edges are sharp. This piece comes from the deepest area (about 26 meters from the entrance) of the Ice Cleft and was found in September 2015. WE 9–22 and WE 9–28 was also found in this area. This piece was published in The Mineralogical Record, Eureka Supplement, May-June 2022. Some collectors will recognize the piece from my business card.
