Description:
This large and heavy fluorite specimen from the third cavern of the Summit Cleft was published under the name "Dark Bull" in Mineralogical Record - Mineral Magazine Vol.41, No.4 2010. The crystal surfaces show an intense square structure, a multiple stepped edge growth and an excellent luster. A second generation of small fluorites has grown sporadically on the surfaces of the large fluorite crystals. The largest fluorite crystal measures almost 9 cm in diameter. With backlight, the piece shows a beautiful blue-green color.
