Zederhaus, Lungau, Salzburg, Austria

Description:

A quartz specimen with an unusual habit: the crystals are flat with three dominating surfaces and three dominating prisms. The two main crystals are double terminated and partially covered with a second generation of small quartz crystals and some chlorite. The surfaces are covered with a shiny snowy layer. The crystallization is on a thin green schist matrix. Undamaged.
