Twenger Au, Lungau, Salzburg, Austria
Unique fluorite floater-piece from the Twenger Au in Austria! The fluorite cube measures an amazing length up to 3.3 cm along the edges. This specimen represents a great rarity. It comes from a relatively unknown locality. From this location this kind of fluorite was never found before. This specimen is from a found, which produced only a fist full of well-developed single crystals, and only a few groups and matrix-specimen. Faces are etched and skeletonized with good luster. The color is amazing - a very intense blue, cyan and green. One side of the cube shows a color palette from blue to violet. Another side is characterized by its intense blue and the edges show an intense green. That’s a really fascinating sight. The transparency is excellent and also shows this fantastic play of color. This piece comes directly from our collection and we have only one piece of this kind of fluorite. First and second photo with lower LED light as backlit, third photo with daylight as backlit. A unique floater-piece with amazing Quality!
