122 Fluorite and Celestine
White Rock Quarry, Clay Center, Ohio, USA
A large, lustrous, near-perfect cube of fluorite measuring 36 x 35 x 30 mm, with the distinctive cream-soda color and well-defined zoning that this locality is known for. The fluorite has excellent clarity around its edge, a darker zoning along edges and is translucent at its core. It is strongly fluorescent and phosphorescent under both SW and LW UV light. The cube is also crystallized on the bottom, it seems to be freely crystalized on the celestine. No significant damage to report.
